Craig Romano, who writes the best hiking guides for Washington, has done it again。 In a departure from his "Day Hiking" series, this book features longer multi-day hikes to some of the most beautiful and seldom visited destinations in the state。 As usual, his directions & descriptions are well researched and spot on。 Craig Romano, who writes the best hiking guides for Washington, has done it again。 In a departure from his "Day Hiking" series, this book features longer multi-day hikes to some of the most beautiful and seldom visited destinations in the state。 As usual, his directions & descriptions are well researched and spot on。 。。。more

A great guide book for the traveler who is come rely clueless about backpacking in Washington。 The author gives detailed descriptions and enough information about trailhead sand distances that I felt very comfortable with my family of four including an 8 year old。 Shi Shi beach and Enchanted Valley are beautiful hikes and camping spots。
